Vegetation grows EVERYWHERE on the Oregon coast! We went on a really cool hike that was forested at the trailhead but eventually opened up to cliffs with the ocean far down below.

We stopped to see another lighthouse and this one was really cool because we were able to take a tour of the inside.

Next we headed to Cannon Beach.
Macie did not have a very good time here because she had rubbed blisters on her feet from our hike up to the Falls. Painful lesson on the importance of listening to the counsel of your parents and wearing proper shoes for a hike.
We didn't want to leave but we also did not want to miss touring the Tillamook Cheese Factory, so off we went on a picturesque drive through Tillamook County.
The factory was a blast! With cousins nearby, there is never a dull moment! We have fun EVERYWHERE!

After our tour and crazy bus ride, Kevin bought two containers of ice cream that we passed around and shared. This was definitely not the time to be a germ-a-phobe. We enjoyed watching other people watching us. It is hard not to stand out when you have 10 kids and 4 adults eating from two containers of ice cream and having the time of their lives! We even had two men approach us and ask if we were L.D.S. I wonder whatever gave them that idea?
There are just a few more posts about Oregon. Hang in there...I'm almost done.
