Have you ever been crabbing before? A good friend that Chris works with has a sister that lives in Newport. When the friend found out that we were going to Oregon, and that we were near the Newport area, he contacted his sister to see if she would be willing to let us use her crab pots. This woman was so kind to us. Though she was in Arizona when we were there, she left everything we needed for a successful day of crabbing. It was a lot of fun to watch the kids pull the crabs out of the nets.
We spent the entire day soaking up rays of sunshine and catching crab.
Kevin is getting the bait set in one of our crab pots.
This is my nephew, Sam. Isn't he adorable? I want to pinch his cheeks!!
My happy-go-lucky girl!
This is such a good picture of Cody. Gloves were absolutely critical to keeping your fingers attached when handling the crabs. Even with the gloves, if they got a hold of you, IT HURT!
After a long day in the sun, we put a movie on for the kids and Chris and I went for a walk. The sunset was beautiful.
As I view the majestic world in which we live, over and over again it is confirmed to me just how much Heavenly Father loves us!
