Back to School

It is always an exciting time of year when the kids go back to school. Summer seems to go by way too fast and before we know it, there is no more sleeping in! Oh how we miss waking up when our bodies seem ready to climb out of bed BUT in all honesty, we do look forward to the routine that school brings. I am still super busy with all the things that were put on hold while the kids were home for summer. I am still not quite used to how quiet the house is when they are gone to school. There are times when I do feel lonely but before I know it, the school day is through and we are all together again! Here are the pictures I took on the second day of school because I forgot to get the camera ready the night before the first day of school! What a disappointer but you know, sometimes life is just like that!! We learn to roll with the punches!

Macie is in the 2nd grade this year.

Erin is in the 5th grade.

Cody is starting a whole new phase of life as he has entered Middle School! He is in the 7th grade.

Blake still attends the Middle School but is now having everything he does count as he is a 9th grader!

Zach is, as hard as it is for me to believe, a Junior in high school! I really don't feel old enough to have my kids as old as they are!!!

Both Zach and Blake have been attending early morning seminary and have done a super good job at getting up when I go down to wake them. This is not a super clear picture but this is there first morning of heading off to learn more about the gospel and I am just so proud of them for choosing to make seminary an important part of their day!
