We had such a fun family vacation this year. We met some of our best friends (who happen to also be our family!) in South Dakota. We had a much needed break from the routines of life and were able to relax and have lots of fun together.

This is in Custer State Park and it was so awesome to be able to feed the donkeys there.

We were able to tour Jewel Cave while there and in order to go splunking (which we did not do) you had to be able to crawl through this concrete box. Phew, I made it!

We stayed at a campground that was AWESOME! One of the features was this pool that was "heated" but not enough for my liking. It was pretty cold but the kids LOVED it!

We hiked part of the McKillson trail which was so pretty. This is in one of the old train tunnels. They are pretending to be laying in their coffins as vampires.
