It is hard to believe that Macie is 7! We love this little girl to pieces!!! As she is our "baby" it is hard to believe just how quickly the time is going. I remember a friend of mine used to carry around her youngest child and he was 7. I couldn't understand it, until now. There is something we want to hold onto as we see our youngest child growing up. Perhaps it is the realization that time does not stop and so we do as much as we can to enjoy every moment. There are times when we still carry Macie, even in public. It makes me smile only because I remember my own reaction to my friend and think that there may be many out there that just don't get it. And that is okay. We love Macie. She has brought us so much joy and happiness. She is quick to make us laugh, and has developed such a sweet and tender heart. I am so grateful that she was sent to our home! We love you Macie!
