I've Eaten Too Many Donuts!

So it has been way too long since I have posted anything due to the fact that when I try to upload pictures, all I get is a bunch of encripted, computer messages. I did want to share with you a little "funny" that happened last week with my dear, sweet, all too honest, Macie.

We were in the grocery store getting milk and happened to walk past the donut case. Macie started drooling big time for one! Here is the conversation we exchanged:

Macie: "Mom, can I have a donut?"
Me: "No Macie, you can't have a donut."
Macie: "Pleeeeaaassse?"
Me: "Macie, I'm sorry we can't have a donut."
Macie: "Why not?"
Me in a whisper: "Because if we eat too many donuts, then our bums will get big."
Macie quickly responds: "Mom, you must have eaten A LOT of donuts when you were little!"

All I could do was laugh! I thought that was the funniest response ever and I guess I pretty much deserved it. Thinking about it, my bum does seem really big compared to hers! Enjoy your donut!
