As we left Bismarck it was the coldest we had yet seen...-16 degrees. As we travelled across the lonesome prairie lands our car started to make a whining noise and it about drove me bonkers! Cody got sick and so both Chris and I really wondered if we were making the right choice to go. Both Chris and I had a prayer and we felt like it was okay to keep going. It was a huge relief when the weather started to "warm" up and our car stopped its whining. I can appreciate the whine the car made...I do it too when I am cold.
We were excited as we travelled on the outskirts of Yellowstone Park to see two bighorn sheep. We had to pull over and watch them and also scramble to find the camera. It was pretty cool to be so close to such a beautiful animal.
Once we were at the environmental center it was a time to let the fun begin! They had two seperate sleeping areas and so we put the kids on one side and the adults on another. The kids (and adults) were able to choose different activities to participate in and have fun.
Here is Cody and Logan climbing on the rock wall. This is about the only thing Cody was able to do as he was pretty much under the weather the whole reunion...poor kid.
Erin and Aspen having some good cousin time. I am so happy that my kids have cousins that are their best friends. I had the same as I grew up and still love being around my cousins.
We had a time set apart to wrestle. I think this will be a cherished memory as the kids grow and look back at this reunion. I wish I had taken more pictures of this, especially of the boys as they wrestled.
Her is Macie and Jacee and Logan and Macie wrestling. It was so fun to watch Logan get in there and play hard with the cousins.
Cousins are the best!
A few of us braved the snow and went snowshoeing. It was fun to get out and climb a real mountain. I sure do miss having mountains around!
Can I just say that I LOVE this picture! The cold sure makes for really pretty pictures of really pretty girls!
My favorite Sam-bo! I love how he has a hole in his smile!!
My pretty Macie after our climb.
We were also able to do lots of cross country skiing which I have discovered I really enjoy doing. It is very good excercise and even more fun.

Macie had a rough first day of trying this out as the paths were not groomed but once the grooming was complete, Macie had a blast...Chris did too!
